No Me Gusta Los Ojos

So in the past few days nothing crazy has happened. Mostly everyone is getting used to the schedule, the city, and the language.  Today Devin and I went on a really long walk all around the city and up this huge hill where you could see all of Granada with the mountains in the background... wow amazing! It was well worth the hike!  I definitely needed that peace and fresh air for a bit! Since everyone smokes everywhere here I sometimes feel like my lungs are going to fall out! Ashley couldn't come on our walk because she had a stomach virus! But I think she is all better now so that's good!  Tonight we went out to a tapas bar with Carmen and her friend.  They ordered us some sort of crustacean with the eyes and everything and I told her that I don't like things with eyes and she thought that was hilarious and her and her friend talked about that for the next hour (every once in a while making sure we were eating the giant sandwich they ordered us).  I have really wanted to go shopping because I pass the most adorable stores on the way to the center of the city but they are all closed on Sunday and way too crowded on the weekends so I haven't been able to!  Sorry that this entry is super boring! We don't start school until Tuesday! Maybe this video of my apartment will make it more interesting!

  1. I am so glad to see your living conditions! It does look nice. I love the fact that Jesus is even in your room watching over you as you sleep.
I love you and can't wait to hear about your classes.
    Make good choices,

  3. Wow, I loved the tour! Do you think she uses that Jesus painting as her security system? So that way you know you are being watched? Thanks for giving me a peak at your new casa.

  4. This is being posted as an Anonymous comment, but I'm going to let you take a guess who it is...HELLLOOOOO!!!!! Numero Uno, it's no me gustaN los ojos...where would you be without me to correct your Spanish grammar (and English grammar for that matter)? Numero Dos, I decided your room is bigger than a closet. But if you combined both of my closets, it would be about the same size. Numero tres, I cannot wait to hear all about your classes. I'm so happy you tested into Spanish 4! But I don't think I'm gonna be able to take any more Spanish because I have to take a bunch of science classes :( Numero Quatro, I read this blog like 3 days ago so I don't really remember what all to comment on. BUT, good news! You get to be even more special that you already are. Unfortunately, I can't talk about it here. I will send you a FB message and explain all the deets. I miss you tons!!!! Love you Lexiiii!!!
