The title of this is a quote from Carmen. It means lots of sleep means little living or something like that and she says it to me every time i sleep late (which is around 9). And every time I say that I will do zero living with zero sleep and she just laughs at me.
So I still have no internet. I was supposed to get it today but Euogenio decided to take a vacation. He is turning into Carmen San Diego because no one ever knows where he is! But I should be getting it on Tuesday, I hope. Classes are still very easy and very boring. I do enjoy my Spanish oral and writing class. My teacher is crazy and awesome. In our last class we talked for an hour and a half about her favorite beers and a gray hair that she found all in Spanish. We are having class on Tuesday in a bar to learn how to order things. She is really cool because she teaches us things that you actually use in conversation and life rather than cat, dog, elephant, etc. But in the rest of my classes we do worksheets and she gives us the notes that are on the board so we have nothing to do. But class is a very small part of my day and the rest is filled with awesomeness. Ashley, Devin and I found a coffee place that sells big cups of coffee. It is heavenly because most of the places have tiny cups for alot of money. So that was an exciting find! We also saw the place where Isabel and Ferdinand were buried (in Granada, pretty cool) and the cathedral here which is awesome! It is ginormous and the columns inside are huge! Rebajas is the word that is in every store that I pass. It means sale or something of that sort and they have a whole month of sales during February which is almost over so I am in shopping mode! And tomorrow we are going hiking in the Sierra Nevadas so my life is crazy! We have also been planning our trips to Italy, Paris, among other places!! This lifestyle is kind of awesome! So not too much else has happened that is blog-worthy but I am in love with Granada. Hopefully I will be able to keep up with this more when I get internet! Fingers crossed!
Hasta Luego!
